As a Florida native I grew up eating gator tail, crab, etc. and NOBODY and I mean NOBODY does it better than Gumbeaux's! There is no where else that I know that does gator tail and seafood chowder as good as you guys! It so awesome to have the flavor of my hometown so close to where I live now! papadeaux's SUCKS!

I love your place!! The first time I came to GA my husband brought me here and I feel in love with the food atmosphere and Train shots When my parents came for a visit from Houston,TX I raved about you guys and brought them in. My mother said she had never had anything so good ( and she eats any and ever kind of seafood from just about anywhere) My dad ( who doesn't eat seafood at all) tried tailgate dip, crab dip and the fried crab claws, said it was actually good not "fishy" I can't wait to come again see ya Nov 28 for my birthday dinner!!

I was in Douglasville on business a couple of years ago and one thing I truly miss about the area is Gumbeaux's! The Gordeaux’s French Quarter Shrimp and lively atmosphere is the best!...I would kill for the recipe and be forever grateful if you are kind enough to share.

My sister and I have been fans of Gumbeaux's since the first time we tried it. We're originally from upstate New York - not the "City," not Albany, not Buffalo - midway between them all in the Finger Lakes area - about as far from the ocean and fresh seafood as one can get. And nowhere near Cajun food. After a recent visit, though, my Dad is now a Gumbeaux's fan as well. Thanks so much Robert - Gumbeaux's fame has spread to the Finger Lakes!!! We love it!

I can't find a better Seafood Gumbo than at Gumbeaux's...and believe me I have tried. I have traveled the country testing every seafood gumbo I can find and none can compare, including New Orleans. Some have been good and some have been bad, but none have been Gumbeaux's!

I was visiting my daughter this weekend and she took me there for dinner on Saturday night. This was THE best Cajun I've ever had; THE best Bisque I've ever had; the BEST salmon I've ever had; and the BEST Bread pudding (chocolate chip) I've ever had. I can't wait to visit Atlanta again so that I can come back to Gumbeaux's! I wish you would open one up in Philly!!!!!! I'd be a permanent fixture!!! Great place!!!
