I always enjoy a great spicy meal at Gumbeaux. I remember the night you opened and how much we enjoyed it! My counsin often asks me if I ever see you. Maybe I'm just not there when you are. :)

On a recent trip to the Atlanta area, my husband and I found Gumbeaux's. I must admit that we were not expecting much from "a cajun restaurant in Georgia" but Wow! What a pleasant surprise. We had a wonderful dinner upstairs at the bar. The food was spectacular and the drinks were awesome (the Holy Water is my fav). We will def. be making a return trip!

Thanks to the bar staff for a very entertaining evening!

I just ate at your restaurant for the first time today, and I was completely wowed! I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends as often as possible!

I'm active duty USAF living overseas. My family hails from Powder Springs, and whenever I come home to visit we always hit Gumbeaux's in mass. I can't think of any other place in the ATL-Metro that I'd rather go on a Saturday night. And I've been frequenting Gumbeauxs for so long, I remember the first store up the street. Miss you all and can't wait to come back again!

If Gumbeaux's or anyone else wants to defeat Ovarian cancer....Hi there, my name is Bryan Ray. I lost my wife of 8yrs to Ovarian Cancer in 2005. I am planning a bowling fundraiser in her honor called Bowling for Jess. I am raising money for the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance. The event is @ US Play in Kennesaw, Ga and I’m looking for lane sponsors for each of the 24 lanes. The cost is only $150 and your company will have a sign up @ the lane. Please let me know if you can help. Feel free to call with any questions. Thanks, Bryan 678-725-1675

We are Douglas County natives and very proud of the fact. Each time we have guests traveling visiting from out of town, at least one evening is spent at the VooDoo Lounge while also enjoying the delicious meals that you offer. Our sincere complements to you and your staff, especially Cory! Never in the many, many years of experiencing the ambiance, vast variety of appetizers and main courses offered have we been disappointed. We also would like to say Thank You for all you do for the many civic organizations in Douglas County. See you all soon.

P.S. Mike and Fran from Conn. were recently our guests

What a fantastic find! Went with friends from Whitesville and were treated to a great meal We had the fried green tomatoes, oyster po-boys, fried gator, the fried grouper platter, and much more. The bartender upstairs was great, the service superb, and the overall experience was great. Would highly recommend to other "Yankees" traveling in the area.
What a wonderful experience.

This is the real stuff. Cajun!! and not fancy New Orleans cooking. This is what you get on Saturday before LSU football and all weekend in Baton Rouge. Good authentic roux. Perfectly spiced dishes not loaded with cayenne, thyme or file powder. I've spent a lot of time in Melville, Louisiana and I know what cajun is. I'll be back again and again. Great wait staff.
